A Lee County man was charged Wednesday with animal cruelty after dead and malnourished dogs were found on his property, authorities said.
Posted — UpdatedSANFORD, N.C. — A Lee County man was charged Wednesday with animal cruelty after dead and malnourished dogs were found on his property, authorities said.
Deputies found the remains and carcasses of six dogs that had starved to death, and four malnourished dogs were seized and taken to a local animal shelter, authorities said.
Richard Garrett Bush, 47, was charged with 10 counts of felony animal cruelty.
