The Wade Edwards Learning Lab across the street from Broughton High School in Raleigh has lined up a slate of programs for high schoolers.

There's everything from tutoring and test prep to an improv comedy class. Here are some of the opportunities:

Tutoring requests are being accepted for students who are able to get to the WELL. This is a free service offered to all students.
SAT and ACT prep boot camps are planned for the school year. The lab has teamed up with Raleigh Tutoring. Certified teachers will be teaching the boot camps. The cost is $150, but there are partial and full scholarships available. They go fast.
A College Essay Prep boot camp is scheduled on Sept. 20 and Sept 25 (a teacher work day) for students looking to get help on writing their essays for college applications. There is a fee, but scholarships are available.
And, a free Teen Comedy Improv Workshop is offered on Sept. 25 at the lab. It's designed for students interested in comedy or theater. The half-day workshop will be offered in the morning or afternoon.
