Law firm becomes newest tenant at American Tobacco Campus

Posted June 23, 2009

American Tobacco Campus in Durham added the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin (JSF) to its tenant list Tuesday. The 100 people working in 50,000 square feet represent one of downtown Durham's largest employers.

JSF marked the move to the Diamond View II building with a pitch across home plate at the adjacent Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

"The move reinforces our commitment to this community, to the best customer service and to the creativity nurtured by dynamic environments like American Tobacco Campus," said James Scott Farrin, founder and president.

WRAL's morning news had me thinking the "major new tenant," I believe they called it, was actually going to be, well, something major. When I think of JSF, I'm reminded of laying on the couch, sick at home with a vomit bucket nearby wishing I was healthy and at work so I didn't have to endure one more courtroom show. Oh, Durham.

Glad to see a business, or in this case a law firm, moving in to that complex.
