FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County investigators have charged a Laurinburg man with showing nude videos of himself to an underage girl via an online chat room.

David Arthur Bracey III, 18, of the 500 block of Prince Street, is charged with disseminating materials harmful to a minor. He was released to the custody of his parents on a $3,000 unsecured bond.

Investigators said Bracey showed his genitals during an online conversation with a 12-year-old girl on Sept. 13 or 14. The girl told investigators that Bracey told her to take her clothes off as well.

Bracey told investigators that he has talked with at least 25 girls a day on the Internet in the past and would sometimes arrange meetings with them, authorities said.
