Two NC men drown in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Two men from southeastern North Carolina died Thursday in separate drowning incidents in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Horry County officials confirmed.
Richard Butler, 57, of Laurinburg was pulled from the water at 72nd Avenue North in Myrtle Beach about 1:30 p.m. Officials said he would undergo an autopsy.
Mark Baucom, a 50-year-old from Polkton, drowned near 15th Avenue South in North Myrtle Beach.
No other information about the incidents were released.
