Harris Teeter Super Doubles products

If you hit the Harris Teeter Super Doubles promotion this week, here's the place to share your receipt totals, your favorite deals, shopping rants and funny super doubles experiences!  Let's hear it Smart Shoppers- how did you do??

For the long list of Super Doubles deals, click the Harris Teeter Super Doubles list link above.

Here are my totals for my Wednesday shopping trip this morning:

Subtotal before sales and coupons: $90.50

Total saved: $84.76

Total after coupons and sales: $5.74

I used an Amex gift card that my dad gave me recently so my total was FREE!  Even without the gift card, I am still very pleased with the total after coupons.

As you can see in the photo above, I bought 2 veggie burgers, 2 salsa, 6 soap, 1 deodorant, 1 good smelling laundry stuff, 2 Perdue chicken nuggets, 1 Pure Leaf tea, 1 Truvia, 2 popcorn, 2 Lipton tea, 1 Special K bars, 1 Jif spead, 2 ice cream bars and 1 Brach's candy.  The kids are pretty happy with my haul!

Thanks to all of you for posting your totals and experiences!

RealStory - great job with all your fabulous deals! Too funny about the flirting! I have to admit that I do make an effort to say I am impressed when I see guys couponing or using the binder.

Realstory, sounds like you had a good time shopping, lol. I do agree 100% about HT employees doing a great job keeping up with the demand. I heard some good stories and some terrible but they did awesome in my book.
Never came across the Maybelline either.

The only things I can think of offhand I never was able to find was the hellmans mayo , 2.99 excedrin, pure leaf tea, the ever elusive maybelline (checked again today at 2 stores, neither had it). Lots of stuff that was out of stock was replenished quickly. Harris teeter employees did an excellent job this time with keeping up with demand the best they could.

One little added bonus I discovered since I worked real hard shopping on multiple days - apparently women really like seeing a man couponing LOL! I got some nice compliments and even flirted with a few times. Made my ego feel good! ha! :)

Phew, it's been a long day, my brain is working at 1/2 pace. Posted this in the other HT thread but Ill copy paste here since it's better suited for this thread:

DOH! Hate I missed this before I went to HT tonight.... but phew I am super doubled OUT! (and that's a good thing!).

I'd be willing to say I used over 80 coupons just at HT this week and got lots of goodies. I have enough Reynolds baking cups to make cupcakes for the entire armed forces, sunblock so I'll never get a tan, 15 bags of uncle bens rice, a bunch of sunny-d lemonades,

14 boxes of meullers pasta, bunch of marathon/balance bars, 5 boxes of edy's Popsicles, 8 bottles of starbucks cold coffee, 6 containers of dominos easy pour sugar, 4 boxes of lipton tea bags, just to mention a few. That's most of the real bulk stuff... got a lot of other things I only had 1-2 coupons each for. (toms, pop tarts, Excedrin)

Very happy with this sale. This time HT seemed to do the best

Thanks Faye. I was SO ecstatic about the coverages I had, I figured better do something useful with it. I had a total of $5 in overage. What really helped was having a $5/2 L'Oreal Advance ZVR and using 2 of the $2/1 q's.
