Crews worked to put out an apartment fire on Navaho Drive in Raleigh, near Duke Raleigh Hospital, on Tuesday at around 6 a.m.
The fire started at 833 Navaho Drive and spread to 835 Navaho Drive, according to officials. Sixteen apartments were burned -- ten so badly, residents who lived there will not be able to return home. Six of the apartments have smoke damage.

Officials believe that the fire started after a nearby vehicle caught fire and those flames spread to the apartments.
Video from the scene shows a truck heavily damaged and burned near the damaged apartment complex, Pointe at Midtown.
Five displaced families were able to be placed in vacant apartments Tuesday morning by the Red Cross. Those families were also given financial assistance for food and clothing.
No one was injured during the fire.
