"Nancy, we got a Fresh Express coupon in the paper--as I'm sure you already know! :) I think it was for $0.75 though, so no double on that one at Kroger."

The salads that are on sale at Kroger aren't Fresh Express :( But they are Dole and I happily paid the $1.66 each since we go through a couple bags a week at least, more if we're REALLY on a salad kick ;)

though I would pass this on with all of the interest in butter:

I tried it and it was SO easy to make, but a bit messy. However, very delicious!

We don't get the Kroger ad in our home-delivery paper out here in neverneverland, but I spotted the butter in the online ad they email on Sundays. I've ordered coupons and am making room in the freezer as we speak. I was so excited to see that one!

Thanks jdouglas- it's not in the ad and I rarely shop Kroger so I definitely would have missed that one. That's a very good price for 1 lb of butter quarters.

I'm excited about the salad deal 3/$5 - it includes the romaine and we eat a lot of that!

Kroger has Land O'Lakes butter this week for $2.50. There was a coupon in the paper for $0.50 which should double, making it $1.50 for a pound of brand name butter.
