Kroger is offering some fabulous deals this week with the new Mega Event promotion! You'll find great deals on dip, Quaker rice cakes, Dannon Activia, Progresso soup, BBQ sauce, cereal, All, Colgate (FREE!) and more!

These deals are valid 1/20 – 1/26.

Kroger Coupon Policy Basics

Kroger doubles coupons up to .50 at Kroger stores in the Raleigh, NC area

Many Kroger stores in the area now allow 5 identical coupons per day (check with your store about their limits)

No total limits of coupons doubled per day

Senior Citizen Discount on Tuesday’s: Age 55 and up receive a 5% discount on total grocery bill (excludes alcohol, tobacco and prescriptions)

Kroger digital e-coupons can be found at the link in the box above. You cannot couple a digital coupon with a paper coupon at Kroger. If you have a digital coupon loaded to your card, the register will automatically deduct it and will not allow you to use the paper coupon. Digital coupons do not double. Click HERE for the digital coupons.

Prescription transfer promotion: Transfer a prescription to Kroger from another pharmacy and get a $25 credit added to your Kroger card. The ad also indicates that they accept competitor’s pharmacy coupons!

Mega Event Promotion: It’s time for another Kroger Mega Event! Buy 10 participating items and get $5 off at the register. You basically get .50 off each item. You can also use manufacturer’s coupons to make the deals even better. Here are some of the best deals from the ad (and there are some good ones!). For those getting lots of free rotel, I've started using a can of that instead of diced tomatoes alone in my stuffed shells recipe for the sauce - really adds a little punch! I use a good spagetti sauce but always add diced tomatoes for extra thickness and the rotel really does make a difference!

Kraft Miracle Whip and Mayo are also part of the $5 off 10 deal !

Just got back from Kroger. Bought 30 participating items in one transaction and $15 came off at the register.

Wholly Guacamole is part of the promo. The 7 oz is on sale for $1.50 - .50 promo discount and recent $1 coupons from the paper = FREE!

The Steamfresh Chef's variety is also part of the promo so only .49 after the discount and the recent .50 coupon! Love that deal.

Boca Burgers are $2.99 after the promo discount and $2.49 each after the $1/2 coupon.

Thanks for all the additional deals, everyone!

Nakabi, they load the $25 on to your Kroger card once you transfer and fill the prescription and then go in to pick it up. They have been doing the transfer promo for a few weeks now so you will probably be able to transfer and fill it in a couple weeks and still get the promotional $25 (although I do not know that for sure). The pharmacist told me there was no coupon required and that it was ongoing, for now.

They also have a good deal on the Red Baron pizzas using the $1 off coupon in the paper yesterday, makes them $1.99 ea when you buy 2. Also a good deal on the Hefty slider bags. There was a coupon for those in the paper a week or two ago.

I was just in Dunn working with my sister on how to coupon and we were just looking for that soup and the rotel tomatoes. I'm going to have to pick some of these up lol

  • nakabi Jan 20, 2013

If you transfer an RX, do you have to have it filled at the same time or can you just transfer it? I just dropped one off at CVS and had it filled so won't need it again for another month.

  • scoutmomof2 Jan 20, 2013

Oh and they have all the French's mustards on sale also. So the spicy brown is free, the honey dipping sauce is 0.79 after the coupon from a couple weeks ago and the yellow mustard is 0.39 after the 0.30 coupon.

  • scoutmomof2 Jan 20, 2013

That should be 0.50/2 Rotel coupon.

  • scoutmomof2 Jan 20, 2013

There was a $50/2 Rotel coupon in the paper this morning making them FREE! There was also a 1.50/2 printable a while back for the Hefty bags. Oreos are also 1.99 for the promotion which if you still have the $1/2 Nabisco it makes them $1.50. There where also Red Baron coupons in the paper today including a .50/1 making them $1.49.

I just got back from Kroger spent 51.46 and saved 87.61. But I have a couple ibotta items, bought several things without coupons and an 8 lb bag of navel oranges for 5.99 which I will get $5 back through that beer rebate I printed out a couple weeks ago.
