jdouglas13 - there is a Cr@ cker Barrel in the 40/42 area right at the intersection with Hwy 42 and I-40. It's next to the Lowes Home Improvement store. You may want to call ahead of time to ask if they carry them.

  • jdouglas13 Sep 16, 2015

ThomasG - really!!! I will definitely have to check out C.Barrel :))) I've never been, have no idea where there is one, but you can be sure as soon as I'm done here, that will be my next thing to investigate.

Interesting you mention the Cadbury Scream eggs. Now wouldn't you think black jelly beans would be perfect for Halloween? They can look scary packaged properly...

Faye, yeah. One can only get so excited about apples when comparing them to black jelly beans hahahahaha ;)

The Cadbury Scream eggs are B2G1 this week ( Durham ad) !
jdouglas13 - I saw black jelly beans at a Cr*cker Barrel near Greensboro within the last month - maybe all carry them now ??

  • Faye Prosser -WRAL Smart Shopper Sep 16, 2015

jdouglas13 - why is that not surprising?? ;-)

  • jdouglas13 Sep 16, 2015

$1.99 is a great price for Honeycrisp apples. I'm pretty excited about that. I wait for them all year, kind of like black jelly beans, although if I had to choose, black jelly beans would win hands down! ;)
