heatherm1212- the $6.99 is for the whole ribeye. That's a big chunk of beef. And the ribeye steaks are $8.99. I saw this the last time they had that sale. I did not get the $6.99 because it was huge.

heatherm1212 - that's unfortunate. Did you ask for a rain check? When the store is out of something, you can get a rain check for the advertised price and then get it the next week when it is in stock. Which Kroger was this at?

Beware, Kroger practices Bait and Switch tactics. They are frequently out of the advertised specials. I was interested in the advertised ribeye steak special. They put the ribeyes in a section marked $6.99 but the actual prices were $10.99 or $8.99 per pound. I took a package up front to question it but they said those packages were all they had. No apologizes, no assistance.
