My ad also shows turkeys for 88 cents a lb and milk for $2.77 a gallon.

ThomasG - thanks for the additional back-up! I was really wondering about that sanity for a bit. :-)

  • ThomasG Oct 21, 2013

FAYE - My email matches yours & losltp
PS - GRATS on your sanity even with the full moon lol

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Oct 20, 2013

FYI - here is the link to my online ad with $2.77 for milk and .88/lb for turkey:!LIDPRf5ut2UFBgIAAAAGCgFICgkxMTQ2NzE5ODUKCjIyODQ5MjA2NTUJAGmMbwoJNzg2MjA3MDkxCg9Lcm9nZXJfRDAyOW5ld3A=?BANNER=kroger&DIVISION=029&FNAME=FAYE&LNAME=PROSSER&PREFERRED_STORE_NUMBER=00357

THANK YOU, losltp! I am NOT crazy! Well, not as crazy as you may all have thought! :-) At least I am not the only one who had milk at $2.77/gallon on the online ad.

  • losltp Oct 20, 2013

My Kroger email ad shows milk at $2.77 a gallon & turkeys are 88 cents a lb. I went to the website and found the same prices for my usual store .
Could the differences be location ??
The Raleigh area ad sometimes is very different than the Durham area ad .

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Oct 20, 2013

I think I may just wait until Sunday mornings to do the Kroger ad from now on. That way I have the ad in my hands and won't have to trust the online prices (or my tired eyes at midnight! lol).

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Oct 20, 2013

Hmm - I could have sworn the online ad last night at midnight had the milk at $2.77/gallon and the turkey at .99/lb. But the ad in the paper has them as you wrote below so I will make the changes now. Thanks savvysaver and twinredheads. I appreciate the "price police"! lol

  • Savvysaver Oct 20, 2013

I think the milk price is a type-o. My ad says it's $2.88 a gallon.

  • twinredheads Oct 20, 2013

Not to be the price police :) but my ad shows the turkey at .79 a pound with an additional $35 purchase.
