Kroger has issued a recall of their Kroger Break 'N Bake 16 oz. chocolate chip cookie dough because it may contain peanut butter cup cookie dough. For those allergic to peanuts, this could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.
The product supplier, ConAgra, announced the recall on Sunday for the chocolate chip cookie dough packages with the UPC: 11110 87530 and a "use by" date of November 24, 2013. The recall does include Kroger stores in North Carolina.
Consumers can return the product to the store for a refund or replacement.
