Knightdale Station Parks officially opens Thursday
Knightdale officials have a big day ahead of them as they officially open Knightdale Station Park, the 76 acres that they are calling their central park.

Knightdale officials have a big day ahead of them as they officially open Knightdale Station Park, the 76 acres that they are calling their central park.
Read much more about the park in this earlier post. This first phase, which opens this week, includes a dog park, picnic shelters, bathrooms, two miles of trails and a really nice playground.

Thursday's event runs 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, at the park at 810 N. First Ave. The event includes a farmers' market, food trucks, hay rides, art, music and more. Check Knightdale's website for the list of food trucks and festivities.
