— A Knightdale man faces accusations that he sexually abused a 6-year-old, according to an arrest warrant filed by the Wake County Sheriff's Office.

Gerald Lee, 33, of 6017 Antigua Run, was charged Friday with one count of first-degree sexual offense involving a child. Warrants state that the alleged abuse happened Oct. 25-26, 2010.

Lee was given a $1.5 million secured bond and scheduled to appear in court Monday.

He was already in the Lumberton Correctional Institute, serving a one-year sentence for a Nov. 16, 2010, conviction for obtaining property by false pretenses, according to state Department of Correction records.

Lee has 15 felony convictions dating to 1995, including selling drugs, breaking and entering and larceny, records show.

If he likes little boys, he might not mind being locked in jail with a bunch of hard up men so bad as society would like to think.
