Knightdale man charged in stabbing

KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — A Knightdale man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a Friday night stabbing, authorities said.
Torrahn Isaiah Hughes, 19, of 519 Laurens Way Drive, was charged with attempted first-degree murder. He was being held Wednesday in the Wake County jail under a $1.5 million bond.
Gregory Olakunle Adeogun, 19, of Knightdale, was stabbed near a home in the 6000 block of Presentation Street in the Amber Acres subdivision Friday night, authorities said.
Adeogun was taken to WakeMed for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
