Police have arrested a 19-year-old Knightdale man in connection with an armed robbery in Raleigh.

Police say that on Nov. 1, Manuel Jaimes-Estrada and three other men kidnapped a  man, threatened him with a handgun and stole his 2003 Red Chevy Envoy, a gold ring and wallet, according to an arrest warrant.

Jaimes-Estrada, 1924 Red Top Loop, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and first-degree kidnapping. He was being held Sunday at the Wake County jail under a $300,000 bond.

No other information was released.

So because he has a Hispanic sounding name you assume he is illegal?

I am sure he is from someplace a bit further south than Knightdale. But isn't it nice to see our country protecting us from criminals from south of border.......he will probably get out and be allowed to stay.
