I've gotten a couple of emails about the carnival that is set up outside of the Best Buy in Knightdale.

There's not a lot of information online about it. But Brian Bowman, the town's public information office, scouted out some information. It runs through Sunday. Hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., nightly through Friday. It's noon to 11 p.m., Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday.

Mike, a Go Ask Mom reader who I met at the Harlem Globetrotters the other week, also went out there for more details. He said that all you can ride wristbands are $20 each and the food stands had $2 off coupons for the wrist bands when he was there.

The carnival is between Target and Best Buy at the shopping center just off Knightdale Boulevard near the interchange with I-540. I'm told you won't miss the Ferris wheel.

According to Knightdale's Facebook page, the carnival, in partnership with the Knightdale Police, donated about $14,000 to Special Olympics.
