RALEIGH, N.C. — "It's official. Klausie's is officially moving out of its truck!"

But where is the popular pizzeria food truck moving to? That isn't so clear.

The above quote was posted on Klausie's Pizza's social media accounts on Tuesday afternoon. A series of status updates revealed that they don't have a specific brick and mortar location yet.

"Klausie's success has out-paced our capacity. Our current config - a small truck working out of rented kitchen space - is unable to meet the ever growing demands for our pizza! To meet demand, Klausie's needs its own kitchen space (a restaurant) for prep and a mobile unit with greater cooking capacity. We've decided to shut down the current version of the Klausie's Pizza's food truck immediately. Now, we can focus on getting a restaurant in or near downtown Raleigh."

They mentioned possibly partnering with an existing bar or restaurant in downtown Raleigh for a regular Pop-Up lunch spot serving Klausie's cuisine.

There were rumors swirling a few weeks ago that Klausie's was looking at maybe moving into the space that Draft used to occupy in Glenwood South. No more word on that.

When asked if this means no more food truck, owners responded through social media that it would only be until they get a restaurant space. They said working out of someone else's kitchen is just too limiting.

So what do you think about Klausie's decision to shut down the food truck for now? Would you go to a Klausie's restaurant if it opened?
