Kinston teen dies in wreck south of Goldsboro
A 16-year-old Kinston teen died Friday night after he lost control of his 2010 Nissan Sentra on Emmaus Church Road east of Dudley in Wayne County and hit a tree.
Posted — UpdatedDUDLEY, N.C. — A 16-year-old Kinston teen died Friday night after he lost control of his 2010 Nissan Sentra on Emmaus Church Road east of Dudley in Wayne County and hit a tree.
According to the N.C. Highway Patrol, Marco Antonio Nino was going about 15 to 20 miles an hour over the posted 45 mile per hour speed limit when he lost control of his car. Nino was wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck.
Authorities said Nino was no his way home when he wrecked. No one else was in the car.
No other information about the cause of the wreck was released.
