Kinston man arrested in connection with restaurant robberies

A Kinston man was arrested Wednesday in connection with two Sunday robberies at restaurants on North Heritage Street and U.S. Highway 70 East.

KINSTON, N.C. — A Kinston man was arrested Wednesday in connection with two Sunday robberies at restaurants on North Heritage Street and U.S. Highway 70 East. 

Bobby Ray Jackson, 22, is charged with three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of conspiracy and one count of second-degree kidnapping. 

According to investigators, Jackson robbed the Wok-N-Roll and King's on Sunday. He turned himself in at about 11 p.m. Wednesday. 

Jackson was in the Lenoir County jail Thursday under a $750,000 secured bond.
