Kinston bank robbed
A man armed with a handgun walked into the First Citizens Bank branch on Plaza Boulevard in Kinston on Friday afternoon and robbed it of an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery.
The robber was wearing a black jacket, dark jeans and a black knit hat. He was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build.
