Kidzu offers sensory friendly play this month

As part of Autism Awareness Month, Kidzu Children's Museum will host a special, free playtime later this month.
The sensory friendly playtime is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., April 27, at the children's museum inside Chapel Hill's University Place.
The program is designed for kids ages 0 to 8 with special needs. Siblings also are invited to attend. During the event, families will be able to explore the hands-on exhibits without the noise and stimulation that comes during busy open hours.
The program is offered through the Town of Chapel Hill. Registration is required, which you can do through Chapel Hill's website.
