Kidzu Children's Museum fans will have to wait a little longer to see the latest version of the Chapel Hill destination.
Officials announced Tuesday that the reopening date has been pushed from March 31 to April 11 thanks to construction delays.
The new and expanded Launch Pad location, as it's called, will be located at University Mall. At 8,500 square feet, the space will allow the museum, which caters to babies to tweens, to expand its exhibits and offerings, including summer camps and birthday parties.
It will be the latest home for the museum, which has bounced from spots along Franklin Street to University Mall over the last few years as it seeks a permanent home. It's been closed since mid-January as crews prepared the latest space.
