Kids enjoy free fruit at SuperTarget stores

SuperTarget stores across the country are now offering kids a piece of free fruit at the bakery!

Kids 12 and under can choose a free piece of fruit or a cookie when they visit any SuperTarget bakery counter.

As you may recall, Kroger also began offering free fruit to kids in February. You can see more details at the link above.

I think it's a wonderful option and encourages healthy snacking.

How many of your kids would pick the fruit over the cookie?

Kroger started giving children fruit nearly a month ago - guess Target decided to get in on the publicity also!! ;-)

I think those of us in JoCo are LONG overdue for a SuperTarget! I really miss the one in Apex I used to shop at before we moved.

I am going to start an email campaign letting Target know who much revenue they are losing out on not having a SuperTarget here. Anyone willing to help out? The more mail they get, the more likely they are to notice. Thanks!

My only kid is my Princess of Naughty. Actually, I think she'd actually pick the fruit, especially melon, much as she loves her cookies! ;)
