The 21-date "Rainbow" tour kicks off in Birmingham, Ala., on Sept. 26. The tour will play The Ritz in Raleigh on Oct. 2. The tour is in support of her new album, Rainbow, which will be released on Aug. 11.
Tickets for Kesha's concert at The Ritz go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday through Live Nation. Citi Card members and Kesha fan club members can get tickets starting Thursday. Those wishing to purchase VIP Packages can also get tickets on Thursday.
Kesha had been involved in a public legal battle with former producer Dr. Luke, whom she claimed drugged and raper her and then threatened take away her publishing rights. Kesha filed a civil lawsuit seeking to get out of her record contract with Luke and Sony. She dropped that suit a year ago in California, but Luke has sued her for defamation.
