KENLY, N.C. —  A boil water advisory was lifted Saturday in Kenly after test results showed no contamination, Town Manager Scott Shelton said.

Customers living east of Exit 107 on Interstate 95 were advised Friday to boil their water as a precaution during repairs to a 6-inch water line.

During repairs, water pressure was expected to go down in pipes, creating the possibility of contamination.
