Kelloggs Family Rewards DOUBLE points on Sunday!

Posted March 15, 2013 is offering DOUBLE points on Sunday, March 17 to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Aren't we lucky?!

If you are signed up for the program, you should have received an e-mail about the promotion. I received mine yesterday.

You'll receive double points on codes from any product entered beginning March 17th at 12 am ET through 11:59 PM ET.

I actually have some Mornigstar Farms and Eggos codes I had not entered yet. Boy am I glad I waited!

If you are new to Kellogg's Family Rewards, it's a free program sponsored by Kellogg's that allows you to get free coupons and other items by entering the codes on participating products into their website. Once you earn enough points from entering codes, you can redeem them for various things like coupons. I always wait until I have 1000 points and cash in my points for $1.50/1 Morningstar Farms veggie burger coupons. They were a fabulous deal during Super Doubles last week since the burgers were on sale for $3.29 and my coupon doubled to $3.00!

There are a ton of participating products and you can see this list on their

Here are some codes to use on Sunday, if you haven't already entered them. These codes can be used by anyone. The codes on the packages cannot be shared. They are one use only codes. Thanks to for these!

KFRFAVPOPTARTS10 – 10 points

MARIECLAIRE50PTS – 50 points

REDBOOKKFR50PNTS – 50 points

TAKECAREOFYOU20P – 20 points

I am not sure if all of them are still valid but you can try them and see.

How many of you take part in the Kellogg's Family Rewards program?

    ERESUNGANADORHOY will double.

I looked through my pantry and not a single eligible product has a code. I had over 15 items in my pantry. It is a shame that so few of the promoted items actually have codes. We go through 2 boxes of pop-tarts a week and have yet to buy a box with a code. I do only buy the unfrosted ones so maybe those don't sell as well? Oh well, hopefully I will get some codes sometime in the future:)

Glad it worked for you, jdouglas!

  • jdouglas13 Mar 17, 2013

Success! Picked up another 1000 points! I see some very cheap cereal in our future :)

Spalding - did you use the codes above or did you use codes from product packages? All my product package codes doubled with no issues so I am guessing that you used the codes from above and that they did not double since they are not product package codes. Let us know.

That is very odd spalding. Did you get the e-mail from them about the double points?

  • TJ84 Mar 17, 2013

The double points didn't work for me.

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Mar 17, 2013

That is exactly what I did, jdouglas. I went on a hunt in my pantry and freezer for boxes with points to use with the double point promo today. It worked. I am back up to 1980 points!

Looks like I'll be tearing open all of my DW's cereal boxes tomorrow LOL! It's okay -- she's used to it. :)

Shelllauren, thanks for sharing the code!

Apparently the boxes that don't have the logo on them were produced before they started this program. Just read that on their website. Valuable lesson learned today. None of my boxes had the logo on them. Hopefully I haven't already used the codes that Faye gave us and I'll get some extra points tomorrow! (That's if I remember to do it!) Thanks Faye

I actually find myself looking for the varieties of products that have the codes vs those that don't. Youcan tell they have a code because it has the Kelloggs Family Rewards logo on the outside of the box.

The other day I was getting Morningstar veggie burgers and certain varieties didn't have the all-important Kelloggs Family Rewards logo on the outside of the box indicating that there was a code inside. I skipped right over them to the varieties that did. Obviously we liked the one I did buy, but I made sure it had a code. lol
