Kelcey Carlson safe after Boston Marathon explosion

WRAL anchor Kelcey Carlson ran the Boston Marathon Monday and, thankfully, is safe following the explosions that left numerous people dead and injured.

Our newsroom has been flooded with emails, calls, tweets and Facebook posts asking if she is OK. We really appreciate the concern.

Kelcey finished the race and was at the airport about to head home when the explosions happened. She rushed back to the scene and will be reporting from Boston.
