Kazoom to end public puppet shows in December

Posted October 30, 2013

Some sad news, according to The Carolina Puppet Theater's website

Ms. Poly, Ms. Ester, Bartlet and their friends' last Kazoom show at ComedyWorx in Raleigh will be on Dec. 19. They've been performing their mix of stories, songs and puppet antics for toddlers to early grade schoolers and their caregivers there since the mid-1990s. Check the box above for more about these great shows.

The remaining dates are 10 a.m. and 11:10 a.m., Oct. 30, Oct. 31, Nov. 26, Nov. 27, Dec. 18 and Dec. 19.

They will still be available to perform at area preschools and elementary schools after December. And you also will be able to hire them to perform at the Kazoom location for school field trips, according to their website. There just won't be any more public shows after Dec. 19.

The Carolina Puppet Theater also performs the same kinds of shows on the the first and third Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m. at the Holly Springs Cultural Center.

The website says there will be more news to come. So stay tuned.
