Katy Perry to kick off tour in Raleigh

Posted January 15

Katy Perry will play PNC Arena on June 22, 2014.

— Katy Perry will be kicking off the North American leg of her Prismatic World Tour June 22 at PNC Arena in Raleigh, the venue announced Wednesday.

Opening acts for the tour include Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves and Tegan and Sara. No word on who will be joining her in Raleigh.

The custom-built stage for this show will help put Katy close to concert-goers, according to the press release, especially if you are able to snag one of the limited number of general admission tickets in the "Reflection Section."

Citi cardholders can buy tickets starting at 10 a.m. on Jan. 21 through the card's Private Pass Program. Katy's Facebook fans will have a chance to purchase tickets on Jan. 23. More details on the Facebook pre-sale and when tickets will go on sale to the general public will be announced soon.

One-dollar from each ticket sold for this leg of the tour will be donated to UNICEF.
