Juvenile escapes from Concord detention center
A teen committed to a juvenile detention center in Concord escaped while on a home visit, the state Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention stated in a news release Sunday.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — A teen committed to a juvenile detention center in Concord escaped while on a home visit, the state Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention stated in a news release Sunday.
The juvenile, identified only as "Jamaal L.," was last seen at 1511 Liberty St. in Durham around 10 p.m. Saturday.
He is originally from Wake County.
Anyone who sees Jamaal L. is asked to call police.
