HT in Wilson has 1 gallon of milk for $2.99. I was going to go to Walgreens but saw this today while I was at HT.

  • TopCopWife Oct 17, 2013

That is my faithful zip when I can't find it any where else. And my son loves these things, he loves Chic-fil-a mini's so this is my version. I take Tyson chicken nuggets and fix a pan of these and that boy is in heaven.....

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Oct 17, 2013

alwaysab - that's probably because I don't eat pork! With that said, looking at sales every week, good recent prices I have seen include:

Assorted pork chops: $2 or less

Center cut pork chops, $2.50 or less

Bacon, $3.00/lb (we eat turkey bacon and it is usually $1.50 or less per package after sales and Jennie-O or Butterball coupons)

If anyone else wants to weigh in on the best pork prices they see, especially for things like Boston but and pork ribs, please do.

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Oct 17, 2013

Got it - rock and roll! lol

  • alwaysab Oct 17, 2013

Faye, I was wondering if you have a good buy price for pork. I see that you post the deals but you never comment if it is a good price.

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Oct 17, 2013

Thanks TopCop! Going to look for it now. :-)

I found Sister Shubert $.75 coupon using Zip 90210

Kato - Walmart stores in the Triangle should price match the Carlie C's ad with no problem as long as the product is the same brand and size and there is a price for the product listed in the Carlie C's ad.

  • Kato Oct 17, 2013

Does anyone know what Walmart considers a "local competitor" for ad match pricing? There is a Carlie C's off New Bern Ave. Would the Walmart off New Hope Church or behind the Triangle Town Center price match their ad? New Bern Ave. is just too far out of my way to go to shop, but sometimes they have good prices.
