Aldi in Cary had Cereal: apple&cinnamon cheerios, honey grahams, and strawberry mini-wheats for $1.29 a box on clearance. They also had 6-color spring-themed sprinkles for $1.50, and spring confetti cake mix for 50 cents. They also had yellow or pink frosting, but I don't recall the price since I didn't buy any.

Dollar Tree has medium eggs for $1 per dozen. While not large eggs if you need some it is not too bad of a deal.

Thanks for all the work you do in putting this list together for us every week, Faye! I can't begin to imagine how many hours go into assembling and typing it up.

One other potential deal: The Fresh Market has "whole/half Hereford Primal NY strip" for $4.99/lb. If this is what I think it is, it's a beef strip roast, which can then be cooked as a roast or cut into individual steaks. On sale at HT, this usually goes for at least $6.99 - $7.99/lb. When we buy this, we get one really thick steak, marinate and grill it, and then slice it. It will serve 3-4 people.
