kathryn-don't you just love Aldi's produce prices? My kids LOVE nartjies (what American's call Cuties) so I love buying them at Aldi for so much cheaper!

  • kathryn21 Jan 31, 3:21 p.m.

I was so excited to go to Aldi's yesterday and stock up on fruit and veggies!!! I got the green peppers, Baby Bella Mushrooms, avocado, strawberries, mandarine oranges (like Cuties), baby carrots, cauliflower and bananas! Love their prices!!! HT had grapefruit on sale in Wilson for $1.47. There were only 5 small grapefruit in the bag.

msalley - oops! That was a funny mistake though. I removed the diapers from the pet section - thanks for the heads up. :-)

Great price on eggs - thanks for the heads up, thosig!

Packy - thanks for sharing the blog ingo I REALLY appreciate it!!

Diane - That is a good deal for that deli tray. Thanks for the info!

Luv's diapers under pet care? LOL

  • thosig Jan 31, 11:01 a.m.

FYI. I was driving past the Walgreens at Hwy 42/40 last night and the sign said they had 1 dozen eggs for 99 cents.

Although this doesn't apply to any of the stores listed above, the Hormel Deli Tray deal that you can score at Target (stacking a Target & manufacturer coupon) would be a great addition to any Super Bowl party:

Go to Swagbucks.com and print out the $3.00 coupon for one 28 oz. or larger Hormel Deli Tray. (It's also available at Coupons.com, but why not get 10 Swagbucks for redeeming it while you're at it?)

Head over to Coupons.Target.com and print out Target's coupon for another $3.00 off this same item as well. (Make sure it prints out as a Target coupon, not a manufacturer coupon - some have had problems with that.)

Head over to your local Target who currently have this item on sale for $9.49 - use both your Target and manufacturer coupons, and walk away with a 28 oz. deli tray for just $3.49 (+ tax, of course!)

** Don't forget to check the expiration date on your deli tray!

  • Packy Jan 31, 9:58 a.m.

Thanks Faye! :) BTW, I've suggested your blog to quite a lot of folks... IDK who actually follows it but you're the first things I mention when folks as how I save so much money. :)
