Nakabi, I was looking thru my coupons last night like a madman looking for the Jimmy Dean coupons...I think I already used them. :(

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Dec 13, 7:57 p.m.

I am with Nakabi - $1.19/lb is probably the best we are going to get for the ham. I do not know what the sale prices will be next week, but $1.19/lb is a very good price.

  • nakabi Dec 13, 6:51 p.m.

savvysaver-the $1.19/lb for the ham is a good deal. I'd be surprised if the price is any lower next week.
does anyone have a jimmy dean coupon? needing as many as possible.
    thanks

  • Savvysaver Dec 13, 4:53 p.m.

Faye - When is a good time to buy a ham for Christmas? I've never had to buy 1 and I want to get the best deal. I see that Food Lion has it for $1.19/lb, but I'm wondering if there'll be a lower price next week.

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Dec 13, 11:17 a.m.

Blue Devil - check the blog - I just posted a coupon for .55/2 any brand of eggs that may help. :-)

  • Blue Devil Woman Dec 13, 11:09 a.m.

Thanks Faye. I have not decided yet if I am going to do this. I need to get eggs but I really can do without the other stuff. I am thinking it will be cheaper for me just to buy a dozen eggs without the other stuff anyway and I have got to save money for some christmas shopping.

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Dec 13, 11:00 a.m.

This is not a deal I am doing, Blue Devil, but it's not a bad deal. My usual buy price for the Pillsbury cinn. rolls or crescent rolls is $1 or less after sale and coupons and my buy price for eggs is $1 - $1.25 per dozen. With this deal, it would cost $1.48 more than my buy price (not a lot of $$, but still higher than I like to pay).

  • Blue Devil Woman Dec 13, 10:52 a.m.

Food lion has crescent rolls or cinnamon rolls 3 for $6.00 and when you buy this you get a free dozen large eggs. I have coupons to save 50 cents on 2 crescent rolls or save 50 cents on 2 cinnamon rolls. Using one of the coupons will make each item about 1.37 each. Would this be a good deal?
