Junior League of Raleigh donates 20 percent of Bargain Box sales to Matthew victims

Proceeds will go to the N.C. Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund to help hurricane victims in the central and eastern parts of the state.

The Junior League of Raleigh will be donating 20 percent of total sales from the Bargain Box during the week of October 24 to support North Carolina flood victims following Hurricane Matthew.

The Bargain Box, at Cameron Village, sells gently used clothing, accessories and household items donated by Junior League members and community members.

Lucero Parker, store manager, said they received a large amount of donations over the weekend She said the organization hopes to raise as much money as possible to help flood victims.

Proceeds will go to the N.C. Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund to help hurricane and flood victims in the central and eastern parts of the state.
