RALEIGH, N.C. — This summer is still sizzling with this month’s food truck events. Here are some events involving food trucks in the Triangle:
Coming up this Sunday, July 12, is the Wake Forest Food Truck Rodeo in the Over The Falls Shopping Center (405 S Brooks St.). Over 20 mobile food vendors will be here serving their specialties.
Next Sunday (July 19) check out the Dogwood Food Truck and Beer Festival at Festival Park in Fayetteville. This event will have more than 20 food trucks and craft beer available.
On the last Sunday of the month (July 26), the Town of Cary closes Chatham Street in Downtown Cary for the Chatham Street Chowdown. This event will have more than 20 food trucks between Harrison and Walker streets.
ChickenWireNC tickets on sale now
If you want to see the Porchetta chefs Nicholas Crosson and Matthew Hayden in a different environment, tickets are available for this month’s ChickenWireNC event. The “Glazed and Confused” picnic will be in Pittsboro on July 19. In addition to 20 chefs and producers, there will be live music, five breweries, three wine guys and three cocktail rockstars.
In addition to their food truck, Porchetta has opened a location inside A Fork in the Road, the Streets of Southpoint food court.
Keep the votes coming in for this year’s Out and About Voter’s Choice awards! You can vote for your favorite food truck under Experiences.
