July 4 Craft: Make your own paper fireworks

Posted June 30

Kids make a fireworks craft, provided by Select Sitters, at Go Ask Mom's North Hills event.

Select Sitters shared this craft at Go Ask Mom's event at North Hills earlier this month, and I thought it was absolutely adorable. Bonus: It's incredibly easy and the kids loved it!

Kara Varnell, a mom of two, former nanny and owner of Select Sitters, a local babysitting service, shares how it's done.

"This craft is great because it is easy for almost any age, although toddlers may need help with the glue," she tells me. "It's perfect for July 4, especially if you can find Independence Day-themed cupcake liners.
