Jose and Sons holds second annual 'Spice Fest'

Things are getting hot and spicy at this Raleigh restaurant starting Nov. 18.

RALEIGH, N.C. — As the weather gets cooler, it is time to heat things up in the kitchen! Jose and Sons in Raleigh has the perfect thing to warm you up.

The restaurant starts its second annual Spice Festival Tuesday. This 9-day event will benefit the Raleigh Rescue Mission.

Running through Wednesday, Nov. 26, the event will celebrate the Thanksgiving spirit by using spice and spices in food, cocktails and beer. 

The Spice menu is available is in addition to the normal dinner menu. Ten percent of sales from the special menu will go to the Raleigh Rescue Mission.

Jose and Sons is also encouraging guests to drop off non-perishable goods at the restaurant throughout the festival to help the Raleigh Rescue Mission
