Comic Jon Stewart will be bringing his political satire to the Durham Performing Arts Center in March.
The host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" only performs a few shows each year, but he has selected the DPAC for one of them, venue General Manager Bob Klaus said.
Stewart will perform on March 2.
The actor/comedian has won 16 Emmy Awards, including nine consecutive wins for outstanding variety, music or comedy series. He is also a best-selling author.
Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through the DPAC ticket center (you can reach them by phone at 919-680-2787) and through Ticketmaster online and by phone at 800-745-3000.
Ticket prices range from $46.50 to $76.50.
