A mandatory water conservation order is temporarily in effect for all Johnston County residents.
“The combination of undetermined water loss during the night and high demand due to dry weather conditions make this necessary,” said Johnston County Manager Rick Hester.
The order applies to irrigation of lawns and gardens and other non-essential uses.
