— Authorities have ruled the drowning of a 6-year-old Johnston County as an accident.

Investigators said James Barbour and his 2-year-old sister got into a half-filled pool Saturday at their grandparents' house. Authorities said the girl fell in and Barbour pulled her out, but he drowned.

Family members said the fence is always locked.

An autopsy is being conducted at the state medical examiner's office.

May God Bless this Hero. Its just a wonderful and sad story at the same time. He is a brave little soldier. Showed his sister all the love that he had towards her by saving her life, it would have been a true honor to have him as a brother or sister. Glad he is in a better place. Prayers for his sister and family.
