Johnston County teacher wins national award

— Bryan Holley was honored Wednesday with the Milken National Educator Award.

Holley is a fourth-grade teacher at Corinth-Holders Elementary School in Zebulon.

He will receive an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles to attend the Milken Family Foundation National Education Conference. Holley was also awarded a $25,000 check.

Holley was recognized for his ability to differentiate instruction in his classroom.
