Elderly Four Oaks woman killed in early morning fire, authorities say

Authorities were investigating after an elderly Johnston County woman was found dead early Friday in a mobile home that had caught on fire.

Officials declined to identify the victim, who was found when firefighters were called to the scene around 5 a.m. Authorities said they have not yet determined what caused the blaze at the single-wide mobile home, located at 650B Olivers Grove Road in Four Oaks.

A cause of the fire was pending.
