Johnston County man facing kidnapping charges

Karim Anthony Swain, 31, of 2416 White Oak Court in Clayton, was charged Wednesday with two counts of kidnapping and one count each of larceny of a motor vehicle, first-degree burglary and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

According to an arrest warrant, Swain kidnapped two people and stole their vehicle on Jan. 9.

Swain was being held in jail on a $1 million bond. He is due in court Friday morning.
