Johnston County Homeowner Beats Up Burglar

— A burglar took a beating from a homeowner in Johnston County.

Investigators said Phillip White and another masked man broke into a home, tied up four people and stole money.

One victim escaped, chased White into the yard and beat him with a 2x4, investigators said.

White was arrested and taken to jail.

Investigators are looking for the other suspect.

    A pretty wild story. Glad the robber didn't have a gun. Am happy for the homeowner. Great courage.

    Turning it back on the criminals...gotta love a story like this one. I only wish I could have been there to watch and take a whack at the burglar too.

    Hurray for the homeowner........more of this needs to happen since there isn't any true justice in court with all the liberal, bleeding heart judges and such. LEO's do the best they can to arrest, but the courts just slap them on the wrist most of the time.

    Sad to say, wish it had been more than a 2x4....you can bet it would not be that used at my home!!!!!!!
