RALEIGH, N.C. — Volunteers with the Raleigh Jaycees took more than 100 underprivileged Wake County students Christmas shopping this weekend.

A chaperon accompanied each child to the Belks store at Crabtree Valley Mall and helped them spend $150 on clothing, including belts, coats, underwear and school outfits.

The children then got to go to a traditional holiday dinner at the Crabtree Marriot. Santa Claus gave them gifts, and the children played with local mascots, Mr. and Mrs. Wulf, Stormy and Wool E. Bull.
