RALEIGH, N.C. — Congrats to Jack the Radio on being named the Last Band Standing at Lincoln Theatre Saturday night.
The annual show was fundraiser for Band Together NC.
As winners, Jack the Radio received a $1,500 cash prize and earned a spot as an opening act at Band Together's Main Event on May 3 at Walnut Creek. Hall and Oates and Robert Randolph and the Family Band will headline. Tickets are on sale now.
The other bands who competed - The Morning After, Onward, Soldiers and Big Daddy Love - each won $500.
All net proceeds from Saturday's event and the upcoming spring concert went to the Communities in Schools of Durham and Wake counties.
