Tuesday is free cone day at Ben & Jerry's!

From noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, Ben & Jerry's will be giving away free ice cream cones. There's no catch - you can walk in, ask for ice cream and walk out without spending any money.

The shops, however, are encouraging donations for various charities. And, when you donate - even just some spare change or $1 or so - you get a key fob or coupons that offer discounts for the next year.

You can find lines, but I've never stood in line for more than 10 minutes for my free cone.
